1. Current data scope
The public pre-launch site does not currently provide customer account creation, live payment collection, newsletter enrollment, or public support-message submission.
2. Browser storage
PepX uses browser storage for two current convenience features: the saved cart and the research-use acknowledgment. The cart is stored under a local browser key so it can remain after refresh. The access acknowledgment stores a version and acceptance timestamp for a limited period.
3. Administrative access
The private PepX Admin interface uses Supabase authentication and database authorization. Administrative access is separate from the public research-use gate and is restricted through the existing admin authorization rules.
4. Payment information
The pre-launch checkout does not collect or store card details. Stripe or another live payment workflow must not be represented as active until it is separately configured and verified.
5. Future production policy
A final Privacy Policy must be published before production features begin collecting customer contact, order, payment-related, support, analytics, or other personal information beyond the current pre-launch browser-storage behavior.
